Get ready for a full weekend of Halloween fun in Sidney! Boo Bash returns October 30–31 with something for both the grown-ups and the kiddos. Kick off the weekend Friday night with our brand-new Spooks & Spirits: Costume Contest, then bring the whole family downtown Saturday afternoon for Trunk or Treat and Trail of Treats.

👻 Spooks & Spirits: Costume Contest
Calling all ghosts, ghouls, witches, monsters, and creatively costumed adults! Spooks & Spirits: Costume Contest is a brand-new addition to Boo Bash, bringing participating Sidney establishments together for one community-wide costume contest.
Contestants will begin the evening at The Ranger, where they'll check in, choose their contest category, receive a numbered Spooks & Spirits lanyard, and complete their first costume judging. From there, contestants can make their way through the remaining participating establishments in any order.
At each stop, contestants will make a qualifying purchase and have their costume scored by the establishment's judges. A qualifying purchase can be an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, appetizer, meal, or other purchase—alcohol is not required to participate. Each completed stop will also be marked on the contestant's lanyard.
Contestants can compete for:

🏆 Best Couple Costume
To be eligible for a prize, contestants must complete all participating locations and be judged at each stop. Scores from throughout the evening will be tallied, with winners announced at approximately 11:30 PM at The Ranger.
Participating establishments and prize packages will be announced soon!

Grab the kiddos and treat bags and join us for an afternoon of Halloween fun throughout Sidney!
Start with Trunk or Treat, where local businesses, organizations, groups, and community members will be handing out candy from decorated trunks. Then continue the fun along the Trail of Treats, visiting participating Sidney businesses for even more treats along the way.
Businesses, organizations, community groups, and individuals are invited to get involved by registering a trunk, becoming a Trail of Treats stop, or both!
Registration is free, so sign up and help us create a fun and safe Halloween afternoon for Sidney families!
