Shot entirely in Mississippi and directed by Irving Franco, Adam the First tells the story of a 14-year-old boy (played by Oakes Fegley), who travels across the country in search of his father after being given a list of names and addresses. "Adam the First explores what it means to be a family from the perspective of an outsider desperately wanting to find the truth," writes Alan Ng in his review for Film Threat. The film also stars David Duchovny and T. R. Knight.

The Flowood Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society, is pleased to invite you to a free preview screening of Adam the First on Monday night, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the Legacy Theaters Flowood. Tickets are first-come, first-served and are limited to four per order.
