HARMON CHILI COOK-OFF

HARMON Racing Cells is proud to present the 3rd HARMON Chili Cook-Off. Hosted by Sean, Karie and Sharon Harmon.
The event will take place in local Orange County, where Sherrie and Ed Harmon raised their children. And where most still live today.
This is the third Chili Cook-Off for the Harmons. The first was in 1989. At the park on Patty and Marks street, in Mission Viejo.
It was a great turn out. No competition, just good food and fun.
Ed taught everyone how to play Bocce ball. He was a bit frustrated since no one could figure out the challenge of the game. Not enough excitement for the competitive Harmon children.
Yes we will have Bocce Ball again. Hopefully Ed will be their in spirit to help us out.
Our second Chili Cook-Off was put on by Sean Harmon. There is where the competition began.
Not expecting to compete, everyone brought a "different" kind of chili. First one to run out of Chili was the winner. Does Chicken Chili in white sauce sound good?
This event will have Chili, games, ice cream, and plenty to do.
There will be a Chili contest with the first empty pot gone is the winner.
Competitive games for all ages. From simple 'who can crawl to their mom first' to who will fall asleep before its over. My bet is on Jim, that is if he stays at all.
We will be welcoming several new additions to the family. Most of whom we never get to see. Now we will spend the day with them.
It is my hope that those of our family that have moved away will be able to come to the
event reconnect and enjoy each others company.
I miss the family gatherings.
There is approximately 100 Harmon family members. First, Second, and third generations.

Bring pictures, memories, and stories to tell.
