This mixer is to announce the launch of my mom's Elizabeth Medler's foundation, Liz's Healing House (official website launched during event). The impact of this accident has changed our lives completely, and has opened our eyes to the challenges families who are affected by SCI (spinal cord injuries) face. Navigating the resources, recovery details and financial burden can be overwhelming. As a full-time caregiver for my mom, I want to give back to our new community of SCI survivors plus provide resources I have discovered thus far. Building community is extremely important in these times and we thank ours.

I invite you to meet my mom and family during this mixer and learn more about our journey and mission moving forward. Donations will be collected during the event both monetary and sneakers for our sneaker drive with the organization Got Sneakers? We will be giving our current supporters their flowers while welcoming new folks. Come grab some food and drinks while helping me celebrate my mom. See you there!
