This seminar is for young girls, ages 13 to 17, to help them discover their personal strengths and assist them in acquiring life lasting goals as they learn the value of their identity. During this time, we want to help your teen discover the steps to loving "The Real Me" which include: 1) Learning about my personality 2) Accepting me for who I am 3) Learning to love me fully 4) Being empowered and equipped to respectfully be me at all times
We've invited Maria Ray, Life Coach and NCTI Real Colors Facilitator to administer "The Real Me" Personality Assessment to Discover the Real You. Identifying their personality type will frame their activities thereafter for the morning. In the afternoon we will cover topics such as suicide prevention and the proper position of social media in their lives. Our daughters will be encouraged to excel academically and to take advantage of the benefits of attending college by Mary Salter, co-founder of the Abracadabra Foundation. Miya Jones, LMT and co-owner of HealthQuest Wellness Center will serve in the space of motivating the girls to embrace all of the information they've received and apply it to their lives. We will have a Q&A session allowing the girls to anonymously or openly ask questions of the panel of professionals that are involved in this event.
Let the young ladies in your life know they are not alone. Give them a boost of confidence as they come to embrace who they are. Let's help them walk through their teenage years as gracefully as possible so they aren't derailed from discovering and walking out their purpose in life. The point of this seminar is to do just that! We want to give our teen girls the tools to be more confident, love herself, and stay true to who she is. Don't hesitate, REGISTER NOW! There are only 25 seats available and you'll want to make sure your girl(s) gets one of them!

Loving All of Me: Know Who You Are, Have A Standard and Don't Settle, was born out of a desire to assist my daughter in transitioning into high school as well as navigate her teenage years as gracefully as possible. As I sought to further build the village I've been intentional about creating academically for her, I knew I wanted assistance in helping her to be the best she can be mentally and emotionally.
The teen years can be stressful, confusing, and overall hurtful. Between their body changing and the pressure of social standards and culture, it can make life for our teen girls scary. Remembering my teen years, there were decisions I made that I wouldn't have if I knew who I was to my core. But I didn't. And I had no idea how to figure it out. Instead of living from a place of confidence, I lived out of fear that I would never fit in or be accepted. I said yes to experiences I would not have if I was desperately just trying to fit in. I wish I knew then how to embrace loving all of me versus comparing myself to others. The negative perceptions I had of myself and life lead me to making decisions that not only altered the course of my life, those same faulty perceptions also controlled me without me realizing it well into adulthood.
I was personally coached by Coach Maria and she lovingly asked the right questions to make me challenge the false beliefs I had toward myself and life in general. No, my childhood wasn't easy. Yes, I was bullied at one point in school. Yes, I was seemingly doing well from the outside looking in, but the truth is, I was not. I was 40 years old before I learned to accept all of me physically, mentally and emotionally without NEEDING someone else's approval or permission to just be me. I am who God created me to be and instead of walking that out, I spent the majority of my life trying to be who and what I thought other people wanted or needed me to be so that I could "fit in". My goal in life should never have been to just fit in. What I've needed is for me to be ME.
Living authentically and loving yourself truly starts with knowing who you are. Standards are easier to uphold when you know who you are. Settling for less in life is more likely when you don't know who you are. Sticking with a goal when the going gets tough and/or having to fight for your dream(s) is easier when you know who you are. Not changing your personality or stepping outside of your normal character to fit the crowd is easier when you know who you are.
When Coach Maria and I discussed her coaching my daughter and helping guide her to hopefully avoid the many pitfalls the teenage years offer, it was a matter of moments before I realized my child is far from the only young lady that could benefit from Maria's skill set. For this reason, we have decided to invite Maria Ray, Life Coach and NCTI Real Colors Facilitator to administer: "The Real Me" Personality Assessment to Discover the Real You for not only my daughter, but 25 young ladies. Once their personality type has been identified, she'll help guide them through understanding why they think the way they do, help them to embrace the uniqueness of their personality and walk in the truth of who they truly are versus who they are pretending to be or trying to become for the wrong reasons.
My heart doesn't want any young lady (or young man) to make faulty decisions and settle in faulty perceptions on themselves and life because they went years guessing instead of knowing who they are and then loving and embracing themselves fully so that they attract all that is truly best for them.
Thank you for trusting us! See you soon!
