3rd Annual Pond Eddy Pig Roast & River Float

Saturday, July 29th is the last Saturday in July and that means its once again time for floating rivers, drinking cold beer, and smoking a whole hog. We hope you'll be able to join us and bring your whole family for a fun weekend full of good friends, good music, and good food.
The festivities kick-off first thing Saturday when we'll head across the street to the beautiful Delaware River. From there, you can float down the river as it weaves through the Southern Catskill Mountains. A few miles down river you can hop out and onto a shuttle bus that will bring you back to our house where we'll be waiting with a band, some side dishes, and whole hog BBQ.
We've got a big back yard, and we'd encourage you to bring lawn games, lawn chairs, or a picnic blanket. For those looking for a place to stay there are plenty of nearby AirBnBs. They can book up quickly so please plan accommodations as soon as possible - if you run into any trouble, let Nick and Meg know.

Getting everyone organized in the morning always takes a bit of time - so please plan to arrive around 10:00 AM to make sure we're ready to hit the river by 11:00. We'll have a few floating coolers booked, but please come prepared with sunscreen, bottled water, and anything else you might need for a day in the sun.

For those that joined us last year - we're doing it a little differently this time. Meg & Nick will be pre-booking for everyone again, but we're asking everyone to buy a ticket now so we have a firm headcount. Please buy a ticket for yourself and make sure the rest of your family/group does the same.
For those that did not come last year here are a few things to know - (1) Most people take individual tubes down the river, however if you'd rather a raft (groups of 3-6) that option is available in the ticket section as well; (2) The most important things to bring are water shoes and some cans of beer, seltzer, soda, or water (no glass!!). You don't need to be a strong swimmer to participate but it can be fast moving in some parts depending on the weather so please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Following the River Float we will take a bus ride back to our house where there will be cold drinks, yard games, and OF COURSE whole hog BBQ, side dishes, and a band.
