2nd Annual JJS Mayhem Memorial Ride

Please join us as we come together for Jayden's second  Angel Anniversary and bring awareness to donor and organ donation.
There will be 4rides and ending at one place at the "Vintage Sinclair" in Elberta, Utah.

The 4x4 Jeep trail ride will be lead by Kevin & Gina Mortenson. Kevin and Gina are the parents of 5 kids and 1 grand child. We live in Richfield and own and operate a disaster restoration company that only services the small towns of rural Utah. In our spare time we love to find Utahs hidden gems. We spent 3 years as the hosts of TV’s At Your Leisure and currently work with travel blogs to promote responsible recreation.
                                  This trail ride will be meeting at the Old Sinclair in Elberta at 7:45am and leave at 8:00am. Trail is about 60 miles total, will be going west to Little Moab, up Broad Canyon and down Black Rock Canyon then travel up to Mill Canyon a stop at Boulter Peak and then back down Mill Canyon across the foothills to Eureka where you will visit Elbert train tunnel and end the loop back at the Sinclair in Elberta. All types of 4x4's are welcome. Please ask specific questions if you have them.

The motorcycle ride will be lead by Dave & Dena Richardson. Dave has been riding on two wheels and a motor since he was around 10 and graduated to street bikes just before he was 16. Dave currently rides with the Patriot Guard Riders and is the current State Captain. He loves riding and leaves behind anywhere from 12 to 20 thousand miles between his 3 bikes. .
                                              The Motorcycle group will meet 10:00 AM at 358 S 2200 W, Springville, UT 84663
KSU at 10:30 AM, description of ride-beautiful mountain scenery, some tight turns abut fairly easy ride. Total ride time from Salem is approximately 4 hours. End of the ride will be at the old Sinclair in Elberta, UT.

The car cruise leader TBA (At Your Leisure Group) We are currently still working on the car route, please watch for more details.

The side by side group will be lead by Sheriff Nate Curtis. Married to my beautiful wife for 24 years. Father of two awesome young men. Terrible golfer. Baseball and basketball coach. Enjoy the outdoors. Lived in Sevier County since 3 years old. First motorcycle was a Honda XL 100, last dirt bike was a CR500, crashed them all. Now we cruise in a RZR, haven’t crashed it (hopefully I don’t crash it!) Enjoy any Motorsport, whether it’s 3 mph or 100 mph. POST certified firearms instructor. Certified UAS pilot(crashed a couple of them as well). Sheriff, Sevier County- January 2011 to present Peace Officer Standards and Training Council member- 2018 to present Utah Bureau of EMS Executive Committee and EMS grants subcommittee member- 2011 to present Utah Sheriff’s Association Executive board member- 2015 to present Utah Sheriff’s Association President- 2019 -2020 Chief Deputy, Sevier County Sheriff’s Office July 2010 to January 2011 Detective, Sevier County Sheriff’s Office- June 2004 to July 2010 Utah Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes against Children Task Force Agent- 2004 to July 2010 Patrol Deputy, Sevier County Sheriff’s Office- October 1999 to June 2004 Basic EMT certified - 2000 Corrections Deputy, Sevier County Sheriff’s Office- November 1997- October 1999 LDS Mission to Alabama. Graduated from Richfield High School class of 1994, attended Snow College.
                                  The group will meet at the Shell gas station at 10 am and leave at 10:30 am. The Mona Pole trail is just a quick jot from Mona, UT. Immediately you are in the beautiful mountains and will give you and your rig a challenge. The Mona Pole trails runs through the Nebo mountain range. Trucks and trailers may be left at the Shell gas station on their dirt lot.

The event is $32 for ride, This includes a swag bag, and 1 meal ticket. Each additional meal ticket will be $9. If you wish to just come out and meet us at the old Sinclair in Elberta cost is just for the BBQ $9, if you would like a Swag bag it is an additional cost of $15.

Food menu is BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, chips, water and a dessert.

All attendees can add a $5 bug card to their tickets. Bug cards are attached anywhere on your ride. The ride that has the bug "guts" closet to the center of the target will 50% of that groups bug cards money pot. Each group will have their own pot.
