2022 Pioneering Achievement Award Luncheon
Join us on July 16
The Amelia Earhart Pioneering Achievement Award is presented each year at the Amelia Earhart Festival to an individual whose life and career exemplify the spirit of Amelia Earhart.
The honoree must demonstrate triumph ver tragedy; reinforce the image of self-worth and self-confidence in young women and demonstrate that for any woman the sky is no longer the limit!
The honoree will receive the "Amelia," a bronze tangible symbol of the pioneering spirit. A $10,000 scholarship in the name of the honoree will be awarded to the educational institution of the honoree's choice for a scholarship to encourage and support young women.

This year's honoree is Mandy Horvath, a young woman who has overcome the loss of both legs at the age of 21. Her story is inspiring to all ages. She has set numerous records for climbing including being the first bi-lateral amputee to crawl 13 miles of Barr Trail to the summit of Pike's Peak and in June 2021 she became the first bi-lateral amputee to ascend 19,000 foot Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Join us to celebrate Mandy Horvath, hear her story and be inspired by her determination.
