Please join us for the second annual Embarc Classic golf tournament to support the ACE Mentor Program.

Embarc endeavors to make meaningful contributions to our communities through design, and strives to support others who also seek to improve our communities. The Embarc Classic represents an opportunity to come together and raise funds for a great cause. We are thrilled to have partnered with ACE Mentor Program for the second installment of this event, and can’t wait for you to learn more about their program and the good they’re doing for our communities.

We look forward to seeing you out on the links September 22nd!
As a team of skilled architects and innovative designers, Embarc sees architecture as more than just buildings. It is a collection of spaces that enrich the lives of those who occupy them and the harmony those spaces have with their surroundings.

To achieve that elusive relationship between person, space, and place, we collaborate with our diverse clientele and partnerships to create solutions that exceed expectations. In order to connect people experientially and socially, we form close relationships with our sites and neighborhoods, and the data we collect drives every aspect of our projects. This feedback loop of place, site, and design informs our work, ensuring each project has a unique and meaningful resolution.

Our clients are integral to our process as we balance the effects of place and space with their desires and requirements. By making our clients inseparable from the design process, we know that each project will include a diverse set of voices, further enhancing the architectural landscape.

Architecture is a collaboration. It is not just the efforts of clients, architects, consultants, and builders but the union of site, landscape, and place.

ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston provides a career exposure program where high school students from Greater Boston — who otherwise would not have the opportunity — learn about the architecture, construction, and engineering industries.

With our carefully-designed engagement with predominantly underrepresented youth through hands-on, project based programming, ACE engages, excites, and enlightens high school students to pursue careers in architecture, construction management, and engineering. We engage mentors and offer college scholarships to support the program graduates in their continued advancement in the ACE fields.

ACE Mentor Greater Boston is an affiliate of ACE Mentor Program of America. Founded in 2007, ACE Mentor Greater Boston is led by an all-volunteer board and active group of volunteer mentors and coordinators. ACE marshals approximately 85 volunteers each year to mentor and support students in the program.

ACE is a 501(c)3 charity, tax ID #51-0465877.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The format of the tournament will be a traditional Scramble.

The rules are as follows:

Each player hits their own ball off the tee; the location of the best ball becomes the location for all team members' second stroke; this process repeats until the hole is completed. Players are allowed one club length to improve their lie, except on the green or in hazards. The team with the lowest round wins. Tiebreakers will be determined by scores on individual holes, beginning with the most difficult handicap, until the tie is broken.

The tournament will be a shotgun start.

RECEPTION

A reception will be held following the round at the course ballroom and patio area. Passed hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.

Prizes will be awarded to the overall winners as well as to the winners of the hole contests and putting contest.

The raffle prizes will also be drawn and awarded.

Brookmeadow’s function facility boasts a newly renovated ballroom, expansive covered veranda, stunning gazebo and private gardens.
