Join us on Wednesday, October 2, for the 2024 Fall Planners's Forum
The Planners’ Forum provides a great opportunity to hear and discuss current planning topics and share ideas. The Forum will touch on a number of current issues, including EV charging, planning for flooding, and active transportation. The 2024 Fall Forum will include the following presentations:
- Sean Greene, the DVRPC Office of Freight and Clean Transportation Manager, will discuss clean transportation and the criteria for locating EV charging stations.
- Grant DeCosta, the Brandywine Conservancy Director of Community Services, will provide an overview of the draft Brandywine Flood study.
- Brian Donovan, a Bowman Transportation and Project Planner, will highlight best practices in Upper Uwchlan Township’s new active transportation plan.
The first half hour of the event, from 8 am to 8:30 am, will be networking time, where people joining the meeting virtually via Zoom will be put into breakout rooms to chat with other planners, while the planners at the Uwchlan Township building will be able to network in person. After the presentations conclude at 9:30, there will be an opportunity to stay on the call or in person to connect with anyone else who is participating.
The meeting will be a hybrid event held at the Uwchlan Township building beginning at 8:00 a.m. Light refreshments will be available.
This registration is for the in-person event at the Uwchlan Township building.
To attend remotely, register via Zoom.
