Inclusionary Housing Property Tax Incentives
Learn how Illinois' new Affordable Housing Special Assessment Program is producing new affordable housing units in Chicago, adding to an essential supply of affordable living options across the city and its neighborhoods, and making residential new construction more viable. This will include an overview of a similar program in New York State, where the success of the program has led to thousands of new construction jobs and more than 40,000 new affordable housing units.
