It has been over 25 years since the USS Stonewall Jackson was decommissioned and much longer than that since some of us have been within her hull or connected with shipmates.
We invite you to rejoin us to celebrate those years of service, rekindle old friendships, remember shipmates who have passed on to eternal patrol, and of course... to tell a few sea stories.
From the plank owners to the decom crew, from the wardroom to the goat locker to the crews mess - all are welcome.
You may think that it will be uncomfortable to hang out with shipmates after so much time has passed, but many of us were pleasantly surprised at previous reunions by how our shared service on the Stony J brought us together and created a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Feel free to come alone or to bring a loved one. Come for one day or stay for the whole event. There will be plenty of opportunities to mingle in large group and small group settings, participate in historical tours, dinner cruises, etc. The choices are up to you.
