Energy affordability and reliability have become defining issues for Alaska households, businesses, and communities. This forum will provide Alaska voters an opportunity to hear directly from the four general election candidates for Governor about their visions for Alaska's energy future and ask them questions about how they aim to get there.
Doors will open at 5:30pm, and the on-stage portion of the forum will begin promptly at 6:00pm. After an hour of moderated discussion, Lori Townsend will ask the candidates questions that have been submitted by the public. To submit your questions, please send them to the event organizers using the form at the bottom of this event page. The on-stage portion of the forum will conclude at 7:30pm, followed by a public meet and greet with the candidates.
We hope you will join us in-person for the 2026 Alaska Gubernatorial Forum on Domestic Energy, to be held on Monday, September 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Wilda Marston Theatre at the Anchorage Public Library. For those who are unable to attend in-person, the forum will be live-streamed on
Upper One Studios' YouTube channel.
