Northwest for the Northwest Indian Housing Association 2026 Fall Conference, held Tuesday, September 15 through Thursday, September 17, 2026. Registration is available for in-person or virtual (Zoom) attendance.
This year’s Fall Conference includes elections for NWIHA Executive Committee and Liaisons/Alternate Liaisons, Members Business Meeting and Part III, the final part of NWIHA’s three-part Strategic Planning Training Series. Both housing staff and Board of Commissioners/Council members will benefit from this focused, timely program.
Conference sessions will cover:
- Federal and legal updates, particularly surrounding NAHASDA Modernization & Reauthorization
- NWIHA Executive Committee and Liaison Elections
- HUD/Northwest ONAP updates
- NWIHA Executive Director Housing Certification Program Updates
- Oregon Housing and Community Services update on the Tribal Housing Grant Fund
- Member Roundtable discussion
On Tuesday evening, join us for the conference banquet, featuring dinner, door prizes, trivia, the announcement of the 2026 AMERIND Safety Poster Contest winners from our region, and acknowledgment of the 2026 NWIHA Annual Award winners. NWIHA is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and tax-deductible donations to our Brook Kristovich Scholarship Fund for Tribal students may be made at any time through our website.
