About OhioPRO
Ohio Peer Recovery Organizations (OhioPRO) is a champion of recovery supports, peer run organizations, and the certified peer recovery supporters through whom recovery supports are provided. We work to amplify the voices of individuals with a lived experience of mental illness, substance use disorder, or co-occurring disorder and strive to strengthen the system recovery supports offered throughout the state.

(OhioPRO) is honored to again host
the Ohio Peer Recovery Summit. The
Summit is an annual convening of
peer recovery supporters, peer run
organization leaders, recovery
advocates and champions, and
community stakeholders from Ohio
and across the country. With an
expected attendance of nearly 600
individuals, the Summit provides a
dedicated space for networking,
growth, and learning – all of which
contribute to the advancement of
peer support in Ohio. National and
local speakers will lead transformative
educational sessions that provide
recovery leaders and peer supporters
with new ideas and invigoration to
continue to support the recovery
journeys of our fellow Ohioans.
The 2026 Peer Recovery Summit's theme is "CONNECTION CREATES RECOVERY: Healing Happens Together." Recovery is not a solitary experience. In sharing their lived experience, peer recovery supporters give others the strength and encouragement needed to walk the path of recovery. Healing happens through the sharing of life’s moments with connections that show us we are not alone on this journey.
