A Weekend of Faith, Fellowship and Renewal

The Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos invites all women to the 2026 Lenten Retreat, a gathering of Faith, Fellowship, and Renewal, to be held March 27–28, 2026 at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in Contoocook, New Hampshire. This spiritually enriching retreat offers a beautiful opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and enter more deeply into the spirit of Great Lent through prayer, reflection, and fellowship.
Participants will be inspired by presentations from Rev. Robert Archon, Ph.D., on the spiritual counsels of St. Paisios, and Dr. Ioana Popa, who will speak on finding strength, renewal, and encouragement in our lives as Christian women. The weekend will include shared Lenten meals, time for fellowship, clergy discussions and Confession, and worship services including Friday evening Vespers/Akathist and Saturday morning Orthros. Join us for a weekend of spiritual refreshment, encouragement, and renewed commitment to our walk with Christ.
