2027 CFA Institute Research Challenge
Kick-Off Event & Target Company Reveal

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that gives university students hands-on experience in equity research, financial analysis, valuation, and presentation skills. Working in teams and supported by industry mentors, students analyze a publicly traded company, prepare an equity research report, and present and defend their investment recommendation to industry professionals.

Each season, the Research Challenge brings together more than 140 CFA member societies, 3,500 volunteers, and 5,000 students from over 1,000 universities around the world. Local competitions advance to the next stages of the competition, culminating in the Global Final.
