Build Test Repeat:
3 Steps to Achieve Your Impossible
—Design Talk By Manali Mohanty
Designers and creatives use many tools to solve problems and find creative solutions. Yet we seldom think to apply these to our lives. What happens when we seek to design our lives, using these same tools? Manali will share insights from her TEDx talk, Build Test Repeat: 3 Steps to Achieve Your Impossible, on how to cultivate a growth mindset by applying the principles of design thinking to achieve goals and reach our full potential in our personal and professional lives. Beginning with her start as a young design student in India, her journey across the world to NYC, her challenges and triumphs as an international student and culminating in a most transformative mid-career sabbatical in Costa Rica. She will speak about how she’s had to continuously test and iterate at each step of the way in order to create a long, fulfilling and rewarding career in art and design.
