MIAMI: A COASTAL ENGINE FOR INNOVATION
Meeting the Moment to Prepare for the Future Economy
Florida International University, Miami-Dade County, and eMerge Americas invite you to a vibrant evening celebrating the Magic City in the nation’s capital.

We’re bringing the sounds and flavors of the 305 to the 202, as we showcase how our anchor institutions are accelerating innovation across the region in the areas of dual-use technologies and coastal resilience.

Catch up with fellow Miamians and learn about AI-powered environmental sensors, marine robotics, smart electric microgrids, hybrid seawalls and reefs solutions.

FIU is proud to be an academic partner of eMerge Americas and the Risk and Resilience Tech Hub, both of which are serving as launch pads for the future of the greater Miami region.

Florida enjoys the second longest coastline in the United States, and is ranked the fourth highest state in the nation for Defense spending and recently launch Resilient Florida program.
