The MFAH is proud to present a special community screening of the movie '38 at the Garden' in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This film tells the inspiring journey of Jeremy Lin and his triumphs in basketball while also shedding light on the impact of stereotypes and the consequences of challenging them on a global stage. It also explores the harmful effects of weaponized stereotypes and anti-Asian violence.

The MFAH is honored to have the Director, Frank Chi, present at the event. He will participate in a discussion following the screening. The event is scheduled for May 23, 3:00 PM, at the Brown Auditorium, Law Building.
