Chairman's Welcome
Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend the 39th National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments scheduled for April 11 - 16, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, MN. We are looking forward to a Conference that will once again provide an invaluable forum to deliberate many important issues facing the National Grade “A” Milk Program. We hope you plan to attend and assist in the resolution of proposals submitted for consideration.

We are also pleased to announce that two virtual webinar sessions will be held for the NCIMS Orientation and Robert's Rules of Order prior to the Conference. I urge Conference registrants to attend these live webinars on the dates listed below, but if you are unable to attend, a recording will be available to view or download afterward from the
NCIMS website.

NCIMS Orientation - March 25, 2025, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm ET

NCIMS Robert's Rules of Order - March 26, 2025, 11:00 am - Noon ET

The Orientation session will provide an overview of the Conference structure and process including how proposals are considered and amended, along with the makeup and roles of the Executive Board, State Delegates, Council and Committee members, and FDA Advisors. The Robert's Rules of Order webinar will include a helpful presentation on the Parliamentary Procedures used during the Conference, by our Parliamentarian Dave Lattan.

New this year--to reduce printing costs, paper waste and facilitate the more sustainable use of electronic files, Conference registrants wishing to receive a printed copy of each of the proposals that have been amended, to clearly show the amendment from the original proposal will need to preorder and pay an additional cost of $50.00 (the cost of printing) at the time of registration or at the Conference. Orders of printed proposal amendments will be available for pick-up on the morning of the first day of Delegate voting. All attendees will also be provided with electronic files of the amended proposals at no cost.

I look forward to seeing and working with all of you at the 2025 Conference!

Sincerely,
Casey McCue
Chair, NCIMS
