Acupuncturist Herbal Day 2026
Step Into the World of Chinese Herbal Medicine
Join us for a lively and inspiring day exploring the world of Chinese herbal medicine in the beautiful setting of the RCHM Chinese Herb Garden at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden.

This special event is designed for acupuncturists who are curious about Chinese herbal medicine and would like a practical introduction to the plants, preparations and clinical thinking behind this rich therapeutic tradition. Throughout the day you will work directly with living medicinal plants, take part in hands-on herbal activities, and hear from experienced practitioners about how herbal knowledge can deepen and expand acupuncture practice.

Set among the garden’s remarkable collection of Chinese medicinal plants, the day combines guided tours, practical demonstrations, discussion of training opportunities, and an engaging session on culinary herbs and seasonal dietary therapy. Participants will also make their own herbal preparations and take home both practical resources and a living plant.

Whether you are simply curious about herbs or considering further study, this day offers a rare opportunity to learn, explore and connect with colleagues in a relaxed and stimulating environment

Places are limited – early booking is recommended.

We look forward to welcoming you to the garden.
