All Adak Reunion, for anyone who ever lived or currently lives on our beloved island.



Meet and Greet on Friday evening, Dinner and Music on Saturday evening.

We are planning to have, as our special guest, Holly Sheldon Lee, the granddaughter of Mr. Bob Reeve! Mr Reeve was, quite literally, our lifeline to the rest of the world, and it will be wonderful to have Holly there to share stories of her Grandpa, our hero.

We may attend local 9-11 Memorial together on Saturday morning.

Venue details will be firmed up as we get a ball-park number of attendees.

This area was selected due to
* the solid Navy Presence, and the fact that many of us there had employment ties to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
**It was also chosen because of the affordability of the area vs Seattle.
***It is easily accessible via public transportation from SeaTac Airport (Light rail to ferry to Bremerton or Airporter Shuttle from SeaTac to Bremerton)
****There are easily accessible hotels and several parks with campsites for those who desire the great outdoors.
*****Great walking score for access to restaurants and shops.
******For your spare time, it's one hour via ferry from Seattle, two hours from mountain hikes or the ocean.
*******There are quite a few "Adakians" in the area for extra visiting time also.

The date was selected for off-season prices and a higher probability of good weather, as well as to allow time for travelers to save up and plan.
