The Atlantic Emergency Management Conference (AEMC) 2025 will take place September 2–4 at the PEI Convention Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This year’s theme, Braving the Uncertain, speaks to the evolving challenges and unknowns that emergency management professionals must navigate every day. Hosted by the Atlantic First Nations, our 2025 conference will provide space to share knowledge, strengthen regional collaboration, and support the people working on the front lines of uncertainty.
AEMC 2025 will bring together emergency managers, first responders, health and safety professionals, researchers, community leaders, and government representatives from across Atlantic Canada. Over three days, the event will include:
- Expert speakers from across the region
- Hands-on workshops and breakout sessions
- Tools, technology, and practical approaches
- Time to connect with others working in emergency preparedness and response
Hosted by the North Shore Mi’kmaq Tribal Council (NSMTC), the Wolastoqey Tribal Council Inc. (WTCI), and the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq (CMM), AEMC is about sharing what we know, learning what we do not, and continuing to grow the field – together.
