I'm Jesse James Garrett, and I've been advising leaders on design and product strategy for more than 25 years. For the last two years, I've focused my attention on the needs of leaders as AI technologies upend both the expectations placed on their teams and the skills and knowledge required to deliver on them.

I'll be getting into all of it, from my direct first-hand experience working with design teams on AI transformation. We'll get into every aspect of what it takes to truly capitalize on these technologies, from the team brainstorms to the cross-functional alignment to the boardroom presentations.

In my work with leaders and teams on AI transformation, I've identified nine essential questions that every design leader must be able to answer. Regardless if you're a senior manager, principal individual contributor, or even the head of design, your point of view on these nine questions may ultimately determine the future of your product, and your own career.

This session provides concrete guidance drawn from my direct experience leading AI transformation in digital design teams. Some of what we'll cover includes:
