Week of Welcome (WOW) at Marymount University is a program specifically designed to warmly welcome and familiarize new students with the university community. The week-long event begins on Saturday, August 24th coinciding with the start of the fall semester.
During the Week of Welcome, a diverse range of events and activities are carefully organized to facilitate new students’ adjustment to campus life, foster connections, and introduce them to the wealth of resources and opportunities available. The overarching goal of the program is to establish a positive and inclusive atmosphere, nurture a sense of belonging, and provide comprehensive support as students transition into college.
