National Farmers Union is excited to bring All-States Leadership Summit to Washington, D.C. for the first time in 2025.

Students and young adults from across the country will gather in the nation's capital and have the opportunity to meet with agricultural industry professionals and build professional skillsets in networking, communication, and leadership.

Flexible Thinking Workshop with DC Improv
Liz Demery - Improv Coach, DC Improv
Get ready to embrace the awkward, be present (not perfect!) and expand your flexible thinking skills in a series of conversation-based improv exercises with DC Improv. You'll learn how to recognize habits you have in your own thinking and replace them with curiosity and a "yes, and..." approach to problem solving. Expect to walk out with a more mindful and specific appreciation of your unique operating system and how to leverage your strengths with more agility.

Service Learning Experience
Groups will spend the morning volunteering at a local DC urban farm or food organization. 
Working Lunch - resume building and interview practice
Groups will return to the hotel for lunch and work with Farmers Union staff to refine their resumes, cover letters, and interview skills.
Free afternoon - tour DC!
After lunch, buses will take groups to the National Mall for a free afternoon to tour the monuments and museums.

Learning to Disagree Better
In an age of increasing polarization amongst our communities, can we learn to disagree with one another constructively? Led by Braver Angels, the country's largest cross-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to bridging divides, this workshop will explore best practices for disagreeing better. 
Agricultural Policy Workshop
National Farmers Union Government Relations staff
NFU Government Relations staff will share about Farmers Union's legislative priorities, how agricultural policy is made and shaped in Washington, and host an interactive policy workshop
Lunch & NYAC Interviews
Over lunch, those running for a position on the National Youth Advisory Council will conduct their interviews with Farmers Union staff.
All-States Banquet 
We will conclude All-States with this time-honored Banquet. Hear from National Farmers Union leadership, and elect the incoming National Youth Advisory Council.
