National Farmers Union is excited to bring All-States Leadership Summit to Washington, D.C. for the first time in 2025.

Students and young adults from across the country will gather in the nation's capital and have the opportunity to meet with agricultural industry professionals and build professional skillsets in networking, communication, and leadership.

Participants will also have the opportunity to run for the 2025/26 National Youth Advisory Council.

Flexible Thinking Workshop with DC Improv
Liz Demery - Improv Coach, DC Improv
Get ready to embrace the awkward, be present (not perfect!) and expand your flexible thinking skills in a series of conversation-based improv exercises with DC Improv. You'll learn how to recognize habits you have in your own thinking and replace them with curiosity and a "yes, and..." approach to problem solving. Expect to walk out with a more mindful and specific appreciation of your unique operating system and how to leverage your strengths with more agility.
"Inside Ag" Panels & Networking Luncheon
Participants will choose one of the following panel discussions to attend, which will include networking opportunities with panelists over lunch:

Legislative and Agriculture Policy Workshop

Tell Your Story - Communications Workshop

Tour the National Mall
After lunch, buses will take groups to the National Mall for a free afternoon to explore the world-famous monuments and Smithsonian museums along our "nation's front lawn."

What do local food systems look like in our nation's capital? We'll visit the city's largest farmers market, the FRESHFARM Dupont Circle Market, where you'll have the opportunity to talk to local farmers, explore the unique offerings, and buy some goodies!
National Youth Advisory Council speeches
National Youth Advisory Council candidates will deliver their candidacy speeches to the conference.
Lunch & NYAC Interviews
Over lunch, those running for a position on the National Youth Advisory Council will conduct their interviews with Farmers Union staff.
Fundamentals of Organizing Workshop

Learn actionable steps to organizing: from issue identification, to assessing conversations with potential allies, to identifying leaders for your group.
Learning to Disagree Better
In an age of increasing polarization amongst our communities, can we learn to disagree with one another constructively? Led by Braver Angels, the country's largest cross-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to bridging divides, this workshop will explore best practices for disagreeing better. 
All-States Banquet
at Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers
We will conclude All-States with this time-honored Banquet. We'll hear from National Farmers Union leadership and announce the 2025/26 National Youth Advisory Council.
