In Loving Memory
Amy Sue (Griffin) Berry, 51, of Lexington, KY passed away on July 15th at Baptist Health Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born to Ronald and Peggy (Burgess) Griffin on May 27th, 1972 and grew up in Lexington and Winchester. After graduating high school, she married her husband, David Berry, and moved to Winchester where they raised two wonderful children April and Dustin.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Amy. She loved making her legendary casseroles for family, spending time with her grandchildren, long motorcycle rides, and was often found with a book in hand. She worked at the Blue Grass Scout Shop for almost a decade, and was the Scout Shop Manager. Amy enjoyed working with new and old scouters alike. She will forever be in our hearts and dearly missed.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Griffin of Lexington, KY. She is survived by her husband, David, her daughter, April of Lexington, her son Dustin (Amber) of Winchester, KY, and four grandchildren Dakota, Caiden, Allister, and Elaina, as well as her mother Peggy Burgess Griffin of Lexington, KY, brother Jeff (Susan) Griffin of Charlotte, NC, sister Lisa Hill of Lexington, KY, and over 30 nieces and nephews.
