I have lived in New Kent County for 21 years. I am serving in the District 3 seat and running in the special election in November because I love everything about New Kent and am dedicated to serving the citizens of the County. I am accessible, hardworking, and experienced. I respond promptly to all citizens that contact me. I will diligently listen to the District 3 citizens, answer their questions and serve as their voice in New Kent County. With 23 years of working for state/local government and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Christopher Newport University as well as a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Virginia Tech, I have an ideal blend of education and experience in public administration, particularly with budget and finance.

My goals for serving in this position:

• Managing & targeting growth within NKC's infrastructure capabilities while following the Comprehensive Plan

• Growing the NKC business tax base to alleviate the taxation on residents

• Promoting fiscal responsibility - adopting a budget that keeps NKC citizens safe & healthy in a pleasant environment without overburdening with excess taxation

• Preserving rural nature of our county

• Involving youth & seniors in our community
