DORMITORIES
The construction of dormitories in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas is a critical investment in the future of the students who need to travel to access education, particularly for members of indigenous communities. These dormitories offer so much more than just a roof over their heads - they provide a lifeline to the end, a haven where these young people can grow and thrive.
These dormitories offer a beacon of hope for students who have had to struggle against incredible odds to access education. In this place, they can truly belong and pursue their dreams without fear of financial or personal hardship. The knowledge that they have a safe and secure place to stay while they study is a priceless gift that can lift them out of poverty and transform their entire future.
By investing on these areas, we are preparing their great future and empowering them to overcome the obstacles that have held them back for far too long. We are sending a message to these students that they are valued, that they matter, and that their dreams are worth fighting for. We are building a brighter future for everyone where education is indeed a path to opportunity.
This year, Angat Buhay aims to complete another dorm in Labo, Camarines Norte, and commence the foundation of the first dormitory project in Capiz. We hope to build four more dormitories before the end of 2023.
