Join us for an evening of networking and fellowship as Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Kelly McKeague, soon to be ordained a permanent deacon, shares powerful reflections on “No Man Left Behind: The Sacred Duty to Bring Them Home.” Drawing on his decades of military leadership and his role as Director of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, he will speak to the enduring mission of honoring our nation’s promise to account for those who served and sacrificed, and share the remarkable story of the recovery and identification of Army Chaplain (Captain) Emil Kapaun.

Father Emil Joseph Kapaun (1916–1951) was a Catholic priest, U.S. Army chaplain, and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life serving soldiers in World War II and the Korean War, ultimately dying in a POW camp. Honored for his heroism and sanctity, he was declared Venerable by Pope Francis in 2025, advancing his cause for canonization.
