Advancing Solutions – Responding to the Urgent Need to Build In-Home Mental Health ServicesNovember 8, 10:00-11:30 am
Delta Hotel, Ballroom A
1330 Industrial Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413
Children and families with complex mental health needs benefit significantly from in-home family-centered mental health care. Outcomes for these services are exceptional and consistently demonstrate significant return on investment.
Survey and qualitative data collection has demonstrated that despite the tremendous value of in-home family-centered service models, Minnesota has very little capacity to serve. Community-based reimbursement rates, the related staffing crisis, and requirements to design teams that can meet the high needs of children and families make these service models almost impossible to deliver – despite the consistent observation that this is the care that we are desperately in need of – to prevent greater crisis for children, support step-down care and assure family preservation.
