Basics of ReAX/Core Studio - 1 RU
A powerful control system needs powerful tools. Aurora's ReAX™ Core Studio is a professional grade software for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and control logic code. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface allows for easy and flexible design, while enabling rapid duplication and reuse of code blocks. Control programs are published to any ReAX capable control system as a web page. Once loaded on the controller, the control page can be accessed from virtually any device with a web browser.

A few examples include Aurora's RXT touch panels, tablets such as an iPad, smart phones, a PC browser, and many other devices. Furthermore, most devices (including those running iOS, Android, and Chrome browser, and others) can launch the Core Studio control pages as a full-screen web app, allowing for a seamless control experience without the need for a native app.

Aurora Multimedia's Marcus Yarborough, CTS-D, CTS-I, Dante Level 3 presents a 2-hour course, titled Basics of ReAX/Core Studio. We will discuss how to create items, assign functions, feedback, and adding values to them. You will also learn to make panels personal to every project, loading systems, and controlling 3rd-party devices.

This course will also review the RS-232, modules, telnet, and more. Please bring a windows-based laptop to participate in the learning activities. Upon completion, attendees should have a solid understanding of the basics of how to use Core Studio and how to successfully communicate with your devices.

In this class, your assessments for each learning objective will be conducted in Kahoot!, Please bring a device (cell phone, tablet, or laptop with internet browser and QR code scanner). Your Kahoot! score will be tallied and recorded for you final class score. A minimum of 80% correct answers must be achieved in order to successfully pass this course and your certificates will be emails to you, in a .pdf format, so you may upload them to you AVIXA student portal and record them for applicable AVIXA renewal units.
Please bring a windows based laptop to participate in the learning activities. You will earn 1 RU for this course.
