In 1983 Austen Tayshus released āAustralianaā which is still, 3 decades later, the highest selling single in Australian recording history.
Austen wrote and starred in the film āINTOLERANCEā which received the Best Film Award at the 1998 Tropicana Film Festival and for which he won the Best Actor Award.
Austen Tayshus is a graduate of the Film and Television School, 1978. He Wrote and Directed the following films, āEric and Aliceā 1975, āWavesā 1976 and āThe Endā 1977.
