Speech Pathology: From Student to Speechie
Hosted by: Avina Therapy
Details
What does being a Speech Pathologist in the NDIS and community actually look like once you step outside of university?

Join Liz and the Avina team as we chat about the variety of work available to Speech Pathologists, the clients and communication needs you might support, working as part of an MDT and what a career in community allied health can offer.

If you’re graduating in 2026, we’ll also take you through our 2027 Graduate Program - including how we support the transition from student to clinician through supervision, a gradual caseload ramp-up, learning and development and support from experienced Speech Pathologists.

Not graduating yet? Come along anyway. Any Speech Pathology student is welcome if you’d like to learn more about the NDIS, community practice and the support available when your time to graduate comes.
Who Should Attend
Students at any stage are welcome - it’s never too early to start exploring where your degree could take you.
Can’t make it live because of placement, work or uni? Register anyway! We’ll send the recording to everyone who registers so you don’t miss out.
