What is Panchakarma?
PANCHAKARMA is a traditional Ayurvedic form of detoxification of the body and mind. This effective method for maintaining health, youth and vitality has been used for thousands of years. It can be used by people suffering from various illnesses, as well as by healthy people who want to prevent future diseases.
The environment is full of various toxic substances, which accumulate in our bodies and damage body cells. Panchakarma supports the removal of unwanted matter called AMAs, which is a by-product of improper digestion. Ama damages tissues and the immune system in our bodies and is one of the main contributors to disease development.
Internal energy can be rebuilt in a body devoid of toxins. Panchakarma treatment results in an optimally functioning digestive system and renewed vital energy. Panchakarma also has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. After the treatments, energy levels steadily increase, and a purified body and mind significantly improve the quality of life. This healing Retreat is dedicated to everyone who wants to invest in their health. It is an opportunity to detoxify on a cellular level and deeply eliminate health problems.

Transport can be arranged from the Kozhikode International Airport (2 hours away by road), Coimbatore Airport (3 hours away by road), or Cochin International Airport (4 hours away by road). Testimonials from the recent Ayurvedic Retreat in India organised by Karolina:
"I returned from three weeks of Panchakarma at Aditya in Kerala feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and full of inspiration and motivation to continue to maximise the effects of the amazing, care-filled treatment received there. Familiar with Ayurveda but never having done Panchakarma, I am so glad I made the decision to join Karolina's retreat at Aditya, which is a beautiful, authentic, healing place. From the moment of arriving, I felt I was properly 'held' with care and compassion; Doctors Sathya and Suma provided daily care and shared their knowledge generously when asked to do so; Karolina's oversight meant that each day's routine went smoothly and the pure hearts and healing skills of all the therapists made for a truly special experience. The food was simple, fresh, full of flavour, and always satiating. Being surrounded by beautiful, lush vegetation and waking up to the prolific and joyous sound of birdsong was a delight. I feel so privileged to have been a part of this amazing experience, and the investment of both time and money is unquestionably worthwhile. For anyone wanting to give their body a fighting chance to rebalance and recalibrate using time-honoured natural treatments and herbal remedies, don't hesitate - you won't regret it!"

I highly recommend Karolina’s Panchakarma retreat at Adithya Ayurveda for both newcomers to India who may hesitate to travel alone or to anyone who is confused as to which Ayurvedic Center in India to visit. As an Ayurvedic practitioner herself, Karolina not only has done all the homework in choosing such an excellent, traditional and welcoming centre, but she is also extremely conscientious in assisting with every detail before and during your stay. She also wisely advises how to integrate the benefits of the retreat into your lifestyle back home. Dr. Satya and his wife, Dr Suma, are learned, experienced and compassionate practitioners who treat each guest like a member of their family. The therapists and entire staff are experienced and compassionate hosts. The lush tropical forest of healing plants used to make the medicines on site adds the final touch to an incredible healing journey. Thank you to all who contributed to the experience. I am very grateful!

'Panchakarma at Aditya with Karolina was an extraordinary process of healing from the inside out. It was my first Panchkarma, and I wasn’t even sure about going, but now I know I’ll be coming back regularly. Karolina is a very compassionate, warm and kind person who truly took care of everything in order to make sure that our trip preparations, staying here and going back home, would be as comfortable as possible. She explained everything in detail before coming so we may be well prepared while being here and also how to slowly adjust after going back home. During our stay, we had not only her constant support but also care from highly experienced doctors, therapists, and all the staff in the clinic, which made our stay an incredible experience. The place itself is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful. Food is amazing, and most of it is grown by themselves, the same as the herbs that we were drinking daily and were using for our treatments. I would recommend this Panchkarma to everyone; it’s an experience that will nourish your body and mind.'

'I have believed in angels since meeting Karolina!
From the moment I contacted Karolina, I was totally impressed by the amount of advice, support and encouragement I received as well as the time she took to guide me through the Panchakarma retreat at the Aditya Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala, India. I went on the retreat with my (adult) daughter and husband and they were equally impressed and touched by Karolina’s knowledge, patience, compassion and generosity.
Aditya is an absolute haven of peace, and I felt at home right away. Not only did Karolina (and the doctor/owner) visit each member of the group every morning for a pre-treatment consultation, but she worked continuously throughout the three-week retreat to provide the whole group with a most enjoyable and beneficial experience and was wholly attentive to our needs. However, I never got the impression that Karolina viewed looking after us as work. It is clear that she is absolutely committed and passionate about Ayurveda and cares deeply about her clients’ well-being.
The support did not stop when we returned to the UK; Karolina has been in frequent contact to ask about our well-being and is always on hand should we have any questions or need advice.
Karolina came recommended to me and I, in turn, cannot recommend her highly enough. The retreat exceeded our expectations and we plan to return next year.'

'I had a truly wonderful experience at Aditya as part of the group of folk Karolina arranged to undergo therapy under the care of the wonderful doctors Suma and Satya, with Karolina supporting me all the way.
I knew a little of what to expect but not the whole programme of therapies. Karolina was on hand to explain things or provide support in other ways, always with compassion and, at times, good humour.
Everything was explained well & the care of everyone at the centre was humbling - from the doctors & therapists to the cleaners & cooks - so much kindness!
It was the first time I had invested so much time in surrendering to such a process & it already feels like it was definitely worth it as I continue to follow the advice in my first month home.
The grounds are peaceful, beautiful & rich with birdsong. Medicinal herbs grow cheek by jowl with garden vegetables & the meditation hut is a wee oasis. I felt the environment was a definite part of the healing process.
If you are considering embarking on this process, I would very much recommend going with Karolina's support; she is amazing.'

'My three-week detox & rejuvenation programme at the Aditya Ayurveda Hospital in Kerela has sadly come to an end. As someone who has been studying and practising the principles of Ayurveda for over 30 years, I was truly impressed by the charm and authenticity of this small Ayurveda clinic tucked away in the wilds of Kerela. The place is a real gem, and the doctors and therapists are experts in their respective fields. You could not wish to be in better hands ~ it is a far cry from the commercialised 'Ayurveda Beach Resorts' that are so prolific in the coastal areas further south. The treatments were 'first class', and many of the herbal oils and herbal preparations are carefully grown and prepared on-site.
I feel re-energised and rejuvenated and aim to return yearly to keep my mind and body in tip-top condition as the years roll by. So, thank you, Karolina, for organising this and helping us progress through the treatment programme with harmony and ease.'

'I just attended Panchakarma in India. Karolina helped me from the very beginning, from applying for an Indian Visa to making sure I knew what to do after landing in India when I arrived. She arranged for a trusted driver to pick me up and drive me 3.5 hrs to the facility. Her attention to each detail made me feel welcomed and safe. As a disabled participant travelling alone, this was of great importance to me. While at the Facility, Karolina was there to ensure every aspect of my stay was catered for, including ensuring my room was on the ground floor and near the nurse's station & treatment rooms. There were some wonderful extras I did not expect, like six classes (4 lectures on Basic Ayurveda and two practical classes, one on the making of plant tinctures used as medicine & a very enjoyable cooking class with two basic Ayurvedic recipes. Karolina's care and attention to detail for all participants were exemplary. Her knowledge is vast, her caring authentic, and her actions professional. Thank you, thank you, thank you.'

"Being a 60-year-old male, 90 kg heavy, I decided I had to do something about my lifestyle and health. An Ayurveda retreat in India under the guidance of Karolina was the first step to resetting the body and starting a new lifestyle. It was very tough the first days, with no coffee and drinks. But the following ten days were beautiful. Not only did the body feel sharp and alert, but also the mind, the endless discussions in the head, slowed down. When the panchakarma treatment was over, I wouldn't mind staying another week. Best thing I have done for my health ever! I did not know anything about "Ayurveda and Panchakarma before I went for a two-week retreat in India. But Karolina took care of me and my worries and guided me through the treatment. This was the best investment I have ever made to promote my health. Thank you!"

'Karolina and the whole team were extremely friendly, warmhearted, caring and professional. The treatment was very soothing and healing and helped me both physically and mentally. I could start feeling the benefits while having the individual treatments, and long afterwards, some of my long-term issues have completely disappeared. I felt totally safe and able to trust everyone with all my treatments and medication; therefore, I could totally relax and surrender to the healing process. On top of that, the facilities were perfectly suitable for groups of people like us, and it was very supportive seeing other people going through the same journey and supporting each other. Karolina was amazing in organising and overseeing the whole trip to India for us, helped immensely with any issues or concerns, and went out of her way to help everyone. It was an experience I would happily join in again anytime.
