BTA Summer Camp Training Details
Tennis Training The tennis training will be based on introducing fundamentals. Players will go through workshops designed to team them the many different parts of the game.
Becoming an Athlete The advantage of tennis is the wide range of skills that players develop as they learn the game. Developing a range of coordination, footwork, balance, and body control is a must to play any sport successfully. We will use tennis as a means to teach these fundamentals of becoming an athlete that we hope will pay off for years to come.
Tennis Ambassadors Members of Bajoit Tennis Academy who are highly ranked, national level tennis players, will be joining the camp with the mission of spreading the game of tennis in a positive way. The expectation is for them to be examples to the younger players attending the camp.
Pricing and Registration Session pricing: $120 / for the week
What to Bring - Tennis racquets - Tennis shoes (no running shoes) - Proper athletic attire - Sunscreen, Hat, Tennis Towel, Water Jug
Session Rules 1. Respect the instructors and fellow players. 2. Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the instructors. 3. Be on time for all scheduled activities and sessions. 4. Keep the tennis courts and equipment clean and in good condition. 5. Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and improve your skills. 6. Unless important, cell phones and other electronic devices should be kept on silent or turned off during most activities and sessions. 7. Wear appropriate tennis attire and footwear. 8. Be mindful of others and play in a sportsmanlike manner. 9. Absorb information and improve your game!
Hunter and Jeremy will both be on court for the entirety of the camp. All other coaches will be current or former Southwestern University tennis players. There will be a 5:1 player to coach ratio plus tennis ambassadors from our -spreading the game- initiative.
All coaches are USTA SafePlay Certified and have received in-depth training on how to respond to any situation. Additionally, all coaches go through an extensive training process to be able to articulate appropriate tennis skills to players of all ages.

What is included in our fee? 6 hours of tennis and -becoming an athlete- training. An introduction to yoga tennis with proper warmups and post-practice stretching.
How do I know if I registered? Following registration, a confirmation email will be sent to ensure your place at the camp. If you have not received your confirmation email, feel free to contact us at [email protected]. There is a chance this email was sent to your spam folder.
What if I need to cancel? Full refunds for the Spring Break Training are available up to three days prior to the session start date. In the unlikely event that Bajoit Tennis Academy cancels, a full refund will be provided.
What is the ratio of players to staff? 5:1. This low player to staff ratio allows for personalization of the players’ training experience.
There will also be nationally ranked tennis ambassadors.
Are photos of the session available for purchase? Yes! Following the session, an email will be sent linking photos available for purchase.

Junior Classes Every junior player should develop a strong foundation for their game. It's important to build the right habits from a young age and adjust any bad habits right away. The beginner classes provide a fun introduction to tennis, while geared towards proper development from the beginning. The more advanced classes meet you where you are and set you on the path to progress.
Adult Classes We believe adults should have the opportunity to improve their shots, footwork, and overall level while getting great exercise. The classes will include a combination of both active instruction and lots of playing. Each class is carefully designed to provide the best overall experience.
Yoga Tennis Yoga Tennis is a thoughtful combination of our yoga classes and tennis for exercise. Start with a warmup of easy-to-follow exercises that activate all muscles and joints and get you feeling ready to go. Many are familiar with a sun salutation, we call this the tennis salutation. End the practice with a series of stretches and breathing exercises that will take you into a state of bliss and deep relaxation equal to a few hours of deep sleep for the body. Finish feeling relaxed and energetic ready to attack the day. Great for before work and for all levels of tennis.
Wellness for Excellence is scientific yoga from a certified instructor that presents a holistic approach to living well. The objective is for you to feel and be at your best. This is a comprehensive program focused on mental health, body care, breath, and spirit. It is always tailored to the individual to tackle specific areas of need. The goal is to apply a list of practical steps to cultivate excellence in health/wellness, sports, academics or career, and one’s overall life journey.
