In Isaiah 61 we hear the Lord say,
He will "... grant consolation and joy to those who mourn in Zion- to give them an ornament ( a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment expressive of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit- that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." AMPC
We believe God has asked us to prepare this conference for women. He has opened so many doors and shown us so many ways He is pouring out His favor on this endeavor. He wants to love on His daughters in the way described in Isaiah 61! We are honored to set the stage, so to speak, and watch God do what only He can do!
Having said this, we are so excited and have full confidence this gathering will be a sacred moment, a time for women to unite and stand before the Lord, enveloped in the magnificence of His presence. Together, we will raise our voices in praise, shed tears, dance with joy, and humbly kneel in worship of our Savior. During this set aside time, we will draw from His boundless love and the promises He has made, experiencing a divine exchange: trading the ashes of our past for the beauty He has promised to those who place their trust in Him!

As a national speaker, she is regularly asked to speak at churches and conferences, and with a heart for the hurting, Theresa has spent years doing jail ministry and speaking in residential recovery homes. Theresa is a widow, but one of her greatest joys is having two wonderful children who follow the Lord and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord!
