what to expect
a 5-week online program to
be in deeper conversation with and
build resilience within the nervous system

the intention of this program is to help us be in deeper conversation with our nervous system to help us sustainably manage stress, build a tangible and accessible toolbox to integrate into our everyday lives, and take an active part in navigating our mental, emotional, physical, and relational lives.

Week 1: The Information Highway.
Understanding the basics and polyvagal theory.
Week 2: What is Your Nervous System Story?
Understanding your own system.
Week 3: Knowing where our Resources are.
Understanding what feels supportive and nourishing to our systems and leaning into those things relentlessly.
Week 4: Co-Regulation.
Understanding that our nervous systems are always in communication with each other.
Week 5: Integration and Transition.
Understanding how to make this awareness and practice
a part of our everyday lives.

every other thursday from 6:30pm-8pmEST
all sessions will take place on zoom.
though it is recommended to experience this program in real time, if you can not make the live session, you will receive a recording. 

meet britt
britt dorazio is an experienced practitioner and educator specializing in trauma-informed meditation, somatic healing, and social-emotional arts. her focus is on assisting individuals from many different backgrounds and abilities in strengthening their inner guidance system through the use of these modalities. britt is of the belief that engaging with the languages of arts, body, and breath in a collective setting has the potential to foster compassion and bring us back to a sense of belonging with ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

I began working with Britt while searching for ways to heal and reprogram my nervous system, in hopes it would help lessen the symptoms and severity of POTS/dysautonomia flare ups. While I had found lifestyle changes that helped, I still felt there was a piece missing in my journey. Britt and I began with the basics of nervous system function. Working one-on-one allowed us to jump right in from the knowledge I already had, while she expertly guided us forward. As the weeks progressed, I had so many more tools available to me when I could feel myself heading towards a flare up of symptoms. I noticed the duration and severity of symptoms diminishing, but perhaps a greater gift, I noticed my anxiety around flare ups was also diminished. I felt more hope than ever before that I could heal my body and put years of medical trauma behind me. I expressed an interest in her work with the chakras, and Britt began incorporating practices and lessons into our work with the nervous system. Britt was able to personalize our sessions to my interests, and what followed was a beautiful awakening within my spirit. My body and soul feel a wholeness unlike anything I've ever experienced. I feel so connected to my physical self as well as my spiritual self. The interconnectedness has been a gift in continuing to manage physical symptoms, anxiety, motherhood, and more. I am so grateful that Britt could lead me through these lessons, hold space for my story, and provide guidance and wisdom as I connected the dots on my personal path to healing. I would urge others not to hesitate in commiting to one-on-one work with Britt--I could not have ever anticipated the ways her work has rippled through my life! While I know I will still have flare ups and illness in life, I feel so much more prepared and capable to not only handle those, but to thrive in the process. I now have exactly what I was seeking: a toolbox available to me, as well as an understanding of which tools to use when. I am so grateful for this experience!

I am a loyal follower of Britt and her healing workshops and I particularly loved the chakra series. Britt carries a calm and loving energy with her that fills the room she is in and makes all participants feel safe. Each session was a new experience and exploratory dive into the feelings and meanings of each unique chakra frequency. I love both aspects of Britt's teaching, the rich knowledge she has acquired through study and experience and her own intuitive and natural gifts that shine through. When I walk in the door I can relax my brain and just enjoy the ride! She always incoporates opportunities for us to create and transform our experience into art, which is something so needed in the world. I am super grateful for these beautiful journeys into Britt's world, I could live there!

This class was honestly so wonderful and necessary for me. Learning about the “pillars of mindfulness” and mindfully putting them into practice has made so much sense and feels so good. Britt’s classes, ideas, and suggestions have been eye-opening. The structured breathing, along with other strategies/tools she suggested, has truly been helpful in everyday mindfulness and coming back to the present through all the daily chaos. Would recommend for sure.
