Join the Rio Ferdinand Foundation and the International Fund for Ireland for an exciting community match day event at Sligo Rovers FC to celebrate the first year of our 'Beyond the Ball' programme.

Beyond the Ball is a community football and youth leadership programme delivered in partnership with Rio Ferdinand Foundation and the International Fund for Ireland.

The Beyond the Ball matchday unites young people from community projects across the island and will see two youth squads, led by celebrity team managers, compete for the Beyond the Ball Cup.

As well as the match, the community fun day will include a range of sports and cultural activities from 10am to 2pm.

Local young people, families, schools and youth groups are welcome to attend this free event to enjoy the game and celebrate the Beyond the Ball programme alongside a host of high-profile guests and partners.

Get tickets by registering - please note all attendees will require tickets. Schools and youth groups registering for their groups can add the group lead name to all tickets and distribute to their groups as required.

Ticket registration closes at 7.30pm on Tuesday 26th March. All registered attendees will receive their tickets via email shortly after registration closes. 

All attendees must present a digital or paper copy of their ticket to access the Showground on the day.
