Beyond the Physical: Spiritual Care in Community Care and Support
Community-based work requires more than addressing physical or clinical needs. Effective care is holistic, attending to meaning, connection, identity, resilience, and well-being—both for clients and for those providing care.
This interactive session is designed for professionals working in community health, mental health, housing, outreach, and social services who want practical ways to strengthen whole-person care in everyday practice.

Participants will gain:
  • Practical, immediately usable tools for community-based settings
  • Shared, accessible language for addressing whole-person needs professionally and ethically
  • Insights that complement trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approaches
This session moves beyond theory to focus on real-world, inclusive practices that enhance engagement, trust, and continuity of care across diverse populations.
