Our country was founded on the principle of equal justice for all, and today there are too many members of our community that cannot afford legal service and representation. Belmont Legal Aid Society (BLAS) strives to mend this divide by partnering with local legal professionals and nonprofit organizations to provide pro bono legal services and charitable assistance to those in need.
BLAS encourages students to spend their summers working with public interest and nonprofit organizations through our summer stipend program. Funds raised through Putt for Pro Bono goes to stipends awarded to Belmont Law students for working in unpaid, public interest externships over the summer. Stipends are awarded through an application and board selection process.
So join us on the green, have fun, and help us raise money for students aiming to better our community through pro bono work.
Don't have a team? Don't worry! Individual registrants will be placed in a team of four.
