DAY 1: The Provision

THE BISTRO PRIVATE DINING, PATIO & POOLSIDE RECEPTION
Let's kick off our gathering with a little casual and fun Meet & Greet Welcoming Reception at the private dining room inside The Bistro. A great way to get better-orientated to this beautiful property, hanging out by the Bistro patio overlooking the stunning lake view and the gorgeously designed pool.
We understand that after a long day of travel for most of our attendees, there's no better way to have a light "ice-beaker" evening to get everyones' feet wet. Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served along with an infamous BMG-invented networking game to help all arriving guests ease into the next two days with comfort, fun, and laughter.

Experience the Awe and then Some
When it comes to things to do in South Lake Tahoe, you can shred down the mountain from 10,067 ft. at Heavenly Mountain Resort’s peak or you can dive into the depths of Lake Tahoe. It’s more than 1600 ft. deep, making it one of the deepest lakes in North America. Needless to say, there are plenty of things to do in Lake Tahoe above and below the surface.

And here are some recommendations of things to check out during your free time:
Heavenly Village
Heavenly Village Lake Tahoe offers something for everyone to do, see, and enjoy. Stroll along the quaint cobblestone sidewalks and enjoy a unique community of shops, eateries, and entertainment in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. An 8-plex movie theater, live theatre, ice-skating, miniature golf, and more await your discovery. Experience it all in one place.

Heavenly Ski Resort

A 2.4 mile ride up in the Heavenly Mountain Gondola will leave you breathless as you take in panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. On your way up, stop at the Observation Deck for photos, a latte at Café Blue. Head up the Tamarack Express chairlift with your Scenic Gondola ticket for some of the best views of Lake Tahoe and access to a series of hiking trails, ranging from beginner to expert.

Heavenly Ski Resort
This gravity-powered alpine coaster will exhilarate you and your family as it coasts through the forest and natural rock formations. As always the views are incredible and the memories will be too! The coaster sleds fit up to two riders, so you can enjoy this activity with others.

Lake Tahoe East Shores
On Lake Tahoe's eastern shores, gently sloping beaches, crystal-clear water, and interesting rock formations allow for wonderfully sublime swimming, kayaking and scuba diving at Sand Harbor. Boaters, water skiers, and fishermen can easily launch from one of the park’s two ramps. Enjoy in peaceful retreat from the surf and sun while picnicking in the shade of cedars and Jeffrey pines.

DAY 3: Part 1: On Your Own Personal Free Time
Thursday, September 8 | 12:00Am - 1:30pm
Use this free time to explore South Lake Tahoe as your heart desires.
You may choose to set up some private meetings with your fellow newfound BMG BFF to continue a deeper-dive conversation or to take advantage of the amazing amenities of Edgewood Tahoe. Head to the Spa, play a round of golf, and/or go shopping and explore whatever excites you in the area.
Please note, that it is a pretty busy time of the year for Lake Tahoe during the week we will be there. Be sure to "suss out" the area by doing your own research as much as possible so you can make any reservations EARLY. We've been warned that things get booked/sold out FAST during this time. DAY 3: Part 2: M.S. Dixie II Emerald Bay Scenic Cruise
Thursday, September 8 | 2:30pm - 4:30pm
After your morning free time, it's time to meet back with the group outside of the resort at 1:30pm to take the pre-arranged transportation to head over the historic Zephyr Cove.
Enjoy an amazing 2-hour cruise taking you on a round-trip excursion from Zephyr Cove to gorgeous Emerald Bay and back. Although lunch and complete bar service are available for purchase on board, we do highly recommend everyone to eat prior to boarding since it won't be the most high-quality food.
It is important that you meet us at the Edgewood entrance on-time between 1:30pm-1:45pm for prompt departure to Zephyr Cove. All participants are required to check-in 30 minutes prior to the cruise departure time. We will return to the resort around 5pm.

1. "WHO AND WHAT IS BMG AND WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF IT?"
BMG was founded and launched by Sandra Fan on May 3rd, 2017 in Salt Lake City Utah. This brilliantly curated and highly exclusive organization was created with the aspiration to make "networking easier and worthwhile."

The reason BMG is not hugely promoted or publicized (despite the fact that we've hosted over 70+ events since inception) is that we have a unique set of qualifying criteria and are mindful of who we "put together" into our rooms. We want to honor and protect our unique culture with an emphasis on "Quality Over Quantity."

Even though we host at least one event every month in various locations, only those who we've hand-picked and selected are invited to our gatherings. If you find the invitation to be ambiguous and vague, it is done so on purpose. We hope to only attract those who are curious or intrigued by what/who we are. We prefer to attract those who feel compelled to learn more, than those who are wanting to attend an event for "transactional" reasons, or often with a takers mentality of "what can you do for me?" Rather than "how can I add value to others?" It is important to us to facilitate a safe (non-salesy/non-pitchy) platform for people to authentically connect and build genuine friendships.
2. "HOW DO I KNOW IF BMG IS LEGIT?"

3. "HOW DID I GET INVITED? WHO NOMINATED ME? WHY DID I RECEIVE THIS INVITATION? "
  • When a guest receives an invitation from us out of the blue; they're often curious as to how they got on our list and who may have nominated them. BMG has been "collecting" and intentionally scouting and gathering Cool Cat founders, mission-driven entrepreneurs, and interesting individuals aka. Brilliant Minds for over a decade. With close to 50,000 "interesting cool cats" in our database and continues to grow.

    We have a dedicated team that works 24/7 combing through the internet, social media, attending live events, and sometimes referrals or nominations to collect y'all good folks who are doing good deeds. We look for certain keywords via LinkedIn or from different website sources. Carefully, mindfully and laboriously comb through each and every individual to determine if one might be the right cultural fit for our series of gatherings. Oftentimes one may look "good on paper," but after further investigation - we're not necessarily the "same kinda people." Chemistry and culture; belief systems and value; personality and style, as well as mentality and life philosophy also plays a critical role in us selecting the right people to join the mix. Our goal is to create a safe space for good humans to come together - even as strangers; we have proven techniques to help quickly break the ice and help each and every attendee maximize their networking efforts and investments by creating effortless synergistic opportunities.
4. "HOW DID YOU GET MY EMAIL OR CONTACT INFO?"
  • Well... First of all, "Herding Cats" and gracefully hunting down brilliant minds and interesting individuals is kinda our specialty and SuperPower.
    And then, of course, there's this thing called INTERNET. And something else called Social Media (such as LinkedIn). If you didn't know this, some cray cray brilliant minds have created software and tools out there such as Seamless AI or other people-searching platforms that help us find most people we want to find as long as they have some kind of digital footprint.

    So here's what we did:
    Step 1: We typically look through LinkedIn to compile fascinating or interesting individual profiles.
    Step 2: We then use these impressive (while creepy) people-searching tools and resources to find y'all possible contact info. Not all info is accurate (because you can't trust everything you find on the internet…)
    Step 3: We courageously send out a cool, fancy-looking invitation with our fingers crossed, hoping you're as awesome as you appear in your profile, and that our gatherings "speaks to your soul."
    Step 4: If you like us, YAY! If you don't like us, we CRY for days then move on with our lives. But essentially, based on your response or reaction, (often either curious and kind or mean and rude), we decide if it's gonna be a fit or not. Pretty straightforward!

    The point is, you didn't get on our list by accident. And if so, we wanna call it Serendipity Made Intentional. If we REALLY want to connect with anyone that we feel strongly compelled to connect with, we will do whatever we can to get a hold of them. Super creepy and sorry for the stalker-ish approach. But we want to be very honest with you and hope you can take this as a compliment!
5. "WHO'S ALL GONNA BE THERE? CAN YOU SEND ME A LIST OF THE ATTENDEES?"
  • As you can imagine, the privacy of our attendees' list is very important to us and even more so to our attendees. We, unfortunately, cannot tell you exactly who is going to be there nor should you be concerned about who will be there and whether the people attending will be worth your while or not. Because if that's the case, we're already not on the same page.

    The best answer we can give you is the category of people that we only invite is listed under the "
    WHO" section of our website.

    What we CAN tell you, is that we have all walks of life come to our gatherings. Insanely successful entrepreneurs from billionaires to start-up entrepreneurs. Ex-CIA agents now trying to bring energy and water to the third world country, to family offices creating foundations wanting to make a positive impact for the planet earth. We even occasionally attract those who are trying to find their next adventure or purpose in life or have a deep desire to simply connect with other elevating human beings. True story!

    There's no "title" or "lable" or "boxes" that we can put all the different types of people who come to our gatherings into, because they're truly from all walks of life. That's why it's so magical!
6. "HOW MANY PEOPLE TYPICALLY ATTEND THESE EVENTS?"
  • All of our gatherings are not HUGE events, but rather small intimate settings with typically range anything from 40-80 people. Reason being, we need to meticulously curate every table to help benefit every attendee. Again, we want Quality Over Quantity, Depth over Width. An ideal setting to make true authentic human connections and life-long friendships.
7. "WHAT IS THE AGENDA AND WHAT TYPE OF TANK SESSION TOPICS WILL BE DISCUSSED?"
  • DAY 1 is always the "travel day" with a Welcoming Reception starting in the late afternoon/early evening to allow people to be able to get there from their long day of travel. Some kind of fun and ice-breaker game will help put everyone at ease walking into a room full of strangers for the first time. Our goal is to make you LOL (Laugh Out Loud) on this Welcoming Reception and from there, the rest is history!

    DAY 2 The Think Tank Day - there will be a total of FOUR rotations throughout the day. At each 60 minutes Tank Session, you will be put at a table with (completely different) people who we feel will be most beneficial to you and those at the table for the specific discussion that will take place.

    We will kick-off every Tank Session with a "Lightning Round" where a totally random and "humanizing" question will be asked. Each person will take turns (1 or 2 minutes) to answer or share that particular Lightning Round question. The purpose of this exercise is to help everyone at the table quickly get a glimpse of one another, see each other's human sides and neutralize any social anxiety, or awkwardness, and eliminate ego or judgment. This exercise tends to quickly break-the-ice for all at the table as well as make you cry or laugh and fully let your hair down.

    After the Lightning Round, a main Topic of Discussion will be given. Typically, the four different Tank Sessions will cover these FOUR main areas of your life:
    - Your Gift/Talent/Superpower (aka. the contribution you wish to offer to others)
    - Your current Aspiration/Focus/Project or Mission
    - Your current challenge and/or need - to brainstorm for ideas and/or guidance from others at your table.
    - Your TANKTalk - essentially, you will do a 7 minutes presentation on something that you're incredibly passionate about (but cannot have anything to do with your work). Something that's educational, random, inspiring, silly, funny, or geek out about. This particular session is to allow people to see your passion or get a good glimpse of your character and personality.

    Please note, that we do not give out the exact topics of discussions until the day. We want all our attendees to participate in a "think on your feet," and with a "whatever comes to mind" approach to maximize authenticity.
    The only Tank Session you will need to prepare for is the 7-minute TANKTalk.

    DAY 3 The Play Day & Afterthought - after connecting deeply with so many attendees, this is the day to chill, relax, and have fun with your new friends while continuing to have deeper conversations as we "spontaneously combust" with one another throughout the day.
    We will wrap up this two and a half day's gathering with a slightly more formal "Impact Amplified Gala" back in the Northroom at the Edgewood Tahoe Club House. It's a night to get dolled-up or suit-up and enjoy another fabulous evening of inspiring exchanges.
8. "OK, I LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS AND WOULD LIKE TO COME! BUT WHAT IF MY PLANS CHANGED AND FOR SOME REASON I CAN NO LONGER MAKE IT?"
  • CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY - As it is an uncertain time and anything can change in a heartbeat. We understand and respect that life happens and it's hard to determine what could change or take place as we get closer to each event. Although we do not issue any refunds once a registration has been made, we do offer all of our registered guests the flexibility to carry over any existing registration credit to a future BMG event in the case of a sudden change of plans or circumstances. If you have registered and paid for a certain Summit for example, but ended up not being able to attend that particular Summit, your credit will be automatically credited to a future Summit of your choice.
9. "CAN I BRING A PLUS-1, SPOUSE, OR KIDS?"
  • These BMG Think Tank Summits are always full-blown entrepreneur networking events; hence, we do not recommend bringing non-business-driven or non-entrepreneurial plus-1s or spouses to attend the Think Tank portion IF THEY DON'T LIKE SOCIALIZING/NETWORKING/SUPER SHY. Mostly because we do not want them to feel bored, intimidate or feel pressured to talk to people/strangers. Believe it or not, not everyone likes to network nor is outgoing that way and we want to honor, respect them and prevent any social awkwardness in the room.

    Having said that, if your partner or spouse is highly social and outgoing; is an extrovert, and enjoys talking and mingling with others, he or she is definitely welcome to join us. Just make sure you warn them that this could be life-altering with potential breakthroughs and new enlightenments. A small discount is offered for any double admissions.

    We do also offer spouses or Plus-1's the option to only join us for the Play Days rather than attending the full Think Tank Summit portion. Basically, they can join us for all the fun stuff, without the need or pressure to network at our Think Tank sessions.

    REGARDING BRINGING CHILDREN - Since this is a very focused and strategic networking and professional social event. We do not recommend bringing children under the age of 18 years of age or anyone that could DISTRACT YOU for that matters. We want all our attendees to be able to maximize their experience and be "present." However, there's no discrimination toward children and we're happy to provide support where we can. Should one bring their children, please kindly inform us and we can give you information regarding making additional lodging arrangements for them. If your kids are mature enough to play on their own, you're good.
10. "CAN I SPEAK AT THE EVENT? IS THERE A PAID SPEAKING OPPORTUNITY HERE?"
  • All BMG events are designed to maximize networking rather than listening to speakers like most typical conferences. We very rarely have speakers "speak"; nor do we ever pay for speakers to speak at our events. As we've shared on our intro page: "You're as good as the Best, no better than the Rest." This is not an ego-maniac platform; but rather a coming together of Humble Servants seeking ways to contribute to one another.
    Therefore, you'll have the opportunity to be both the Speaker and the Teacher, the Audience and the Student among the peers at the event.

    At these Think Tank Summits, all attendees will be required to do a short 7-minute "TANKTalk" presentation to people at their table. This will be your opportunity to share your unique experiences and expertise with others.
11. "HEY, YOU SHOULD COMP MY TICKET BECAUSE I AM ALREADY VERY SUCCESSFUL AND/OR A HIGH NETWORTH INDIVIDUAL. I NEVER PAY TO GO TO ANY EVENTS..."
  • Urhhh... Yeah, nah. Anyone who emails us to demand/request their tickets to be comp'd will be immediately removed from all BMG invitations and mailings. Being a part of BMG is a privilege, not an entitlement. We have ZERO tolerance for those who somehow think they deserve MORE than others and wish to attend a high-value experience but are unwilling to "have skin in the game." We simply have no interest in being associated with individuals who would even have that type of entitled mentality. *If you agree with this say "Ayyyyyye!!!"
  • The admission fee not only covers the actual hard cost of each event (with almost minimal or zero profit margin), it helps us figure out who's actually legit and who is not. If someone claims to be already successful and "high networth," you SHOULD BE BRILLIANT ENOUGH to afford the darn ticket. Please, don't be lame, don't be a cheapskate, and don't be that guy that we have to block and remove. #deadserious
