Developing Your Strategy of Teaching Ethics in Engineering with Bono Shih
Join us on November 10
Have you ever felt uncomfortable or worried about teaching ethics because you are not a philosopher? Join us in person over a provided lunch (or remotely through Zoom) and transform how you think about and teach ethics! Facilitated by Bono Shih—our specialist in engineering ethics—this workshop empowers faculty like you to develop personalized strategies for ethics instruction. Through this workshop, you will be able to (1) navigate the landscape of ethics in engineering, (2) identify your knowledge, experiences, and interests relevant to ethics, and (3) create a plan for ethics that works with your engineering course and program’s curriculum.
Bono Shih is a joint post-doc with the Leonhard Center and the Rock Ethics Institute.
