Overview
Born For This is a creative arts and worship intensive hosted by Pneuma Sound Collective. It is an opportunity for teens ranging from 13-19 to be awakened or reaffirmed to Beloved Identity. The Born For This initiative aims at assisting students in discovery and cultivation of their God-given talents. Each student will learn that they already possess everything needed in Christ to fulfill what they are born for. Once awakened and affirmed into their union with Christ, they will be equipped to use their gifts and talents in the areas of Music, Media & the Arts.

Breakout Sessions
An integral component of our summer intensive will give each participant the opportunity to choose an area of interest for the breakout sessions in the following categories: Music, Media, & Art.
Music Breakout Session
Vocals
In these breakout sessions, there will be an emphasis on the technical aspects of being a vocalist, including vocal health, technique, diction, breathing, blending, & harmonizing. Students will also be encouraged and empowered to develop a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, who leads us as we express ourselves in song and in worship.
Music Breakout Session
Songwriting
Students will explore and discuss the technical, spiritual, and practical elements of writing a song. Each student will have the opportunity to put pen to paper and create an original song with the help of seasoned songwriters and musicians. The goal of these sessions is to empower each student to recognize his or her creative strengths in the songwriting process, work collaboratively with other creatives, and produce art that is excellent in craft and pleasing to the Lord.
Music Breakout Session
Musicians
In this break out session, musicians will be challenged and encouraged to develop techniques and skills in all areas of their instrument. The topics covered will include basic music theory, how to be led by the Holy Spirit while playing, leading from an instrument, and music directing. The goal of these sessions is for each musician to grow in their craft and respond to the Lord's leading for each worship moment.
Media Breakout Session
Video Production
In these breakout sessions, students will gain an understanding of the pre-production, production, and post-production process for video creation. They will learn how to write a script, plan out a concept for a video, and learn techniques such as using proper framing, proper background selection, achieving proper lighting, and basic editing skills in order to produce creative, original video content. Each student will have the opportunity to start immediately by utilizing their phones and posting to social media.
Media Breakout Session
Photography
In this breakout session, students will learn how to capture the stillness of moments that spur the wonder of our Creator. Each student will be taught how to develop their own creative eye and the skills needed in order to showcase their work and bring glory to God in their artistry. Practical tips and tricks will be shared so the students will feel confident in their ability to frame the world around them.
Art Breakout Session
Visual art
In this breakout session, students will discover how the visual arts connect us to God the Creator. They will explore the topics of painting, drawing, graphic design, and prophetic art. They will be provided with a few basic art supplies to try their hand at fine art skills, as well as coached on how to use their existing devices to create graphic art. At the end of the intensive, students will have created an original piece of art that will be on display during the final showcase.
Art Breakout Session
Worship Dance
This breakout session is designed to teach students to discover how they can worship the Lord through dance. Whether they have no experience or have been dancing for years, students will learn the art of dance from a place of identity and how to integrate their personal testimony into their movement. By the end of the intensive, students will have the opportunity to learn corporate choreography to a song and work with their peers to create their own choreography.
