We’re thrilled to team up with Outdoor Prolink for our 4th Annual Boulder Creek Cleanup — and we’d love for you to join us!
Four years ago, we started this tradition as a way to kick off the season by showing Boulder Creek some love. Each year it grows, and this one is shaping up to be our best yet.

Event Info
What to Bring
Please bring water, sunscreen, and any snacks you would like. We recommend wearing closed-toed or water shoes. Waders are also encouraged!

Parking & Where to Meet
Volunteers will be able to park for free in a designated CU lot during the event. Details about securing your free parking pass will be sent one week prior to the cleanup.
When you arrive, please head directly to the Protect Our Rivers tent located near the creek. Our team will check you in and provide everything you need for parking and the river cleanup.

The Game Plan
We will check you in and get you all of your supplies for the cleanup. From there we will split into groups to clean up as much trash as possible.
We'll wrap up the event around 4pm to measure our impact and take a group photo! Then we'll head over to Avanti for a free celebratory beer!

Outdoor Prolink is a one-stop-stop for outdoor pros to get sweet gear. Since the beginning they’ve put making the outdoors more accessible and giving back at the forefront of their mission.
Outdoor Prolink was one of the first partners to get on board and support Protect Our Rivers. Even more importantly, they helped fuel a cleanup collaboration on Boulder Creek that since has inspired several other organizations to organize cleanups and the city to get involved and pay attention to water quality and the homeless situation. Since then we’ve collaborated on 3 cleanups and removed 3,095 pounds of trash. Each year event continues to grow in attendance and impact.
They’ve also gone above and beyond to raise 10,000 for us in the past 2 years through their giveback program!
