CalaSCAREus has been invited by Fourth Wall Entertainment to explore their new location—an 1850s structure that has stood at the center of Gold Rush life for over a century and a half.

Originally built as a Masonic and Odd Fellows hall, this building has lived many lives. Beneath its roof, it has served as a gathering place for fraternal organizations, a saloon and billiard hall, a Civil War-era armory, and even the county’s first high school. Generations have passed through these walls—miners, merchants, militia members, and schoolchildren—each leaving behind traces of their time in a town shaped by fortune, conflict, and frontier justice.

Just steps away, the courthouse once held trials and executions, tying this location directly to some of the most intense chapters of local history.

Now, you’ll have the rare opportunity to investigate this layered and historic space for yourself.

This is not a ghost tour. This is an interactive paranormal investigation. Using professional investigation equipment, we will conduct controlled sessions, experiment with communication techniques, and document any unexplained activity within the building.
