Lifetime Achievement Award – Retail Buying
Bob Curran and Frank Gorrie are the inaugural recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award – Retail Buying. Both individuals have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and sustained contributions to the retail sector over many decades in the Toy Industry.
Lifetime Achievement Award – Builder
John Murphy is the inaugural recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award – Builder, to be presented posthumously in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the building-and-construction toy category throughout his distinguished career.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for the CTA Annual Gala Event 2026
The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) incurs certain expenses prior to the CTA Annual Gala Event scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2026. As such, the following cancellation and refund policy applies:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the request. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If a substitute cannot be found, a full refund (less the $50.00 administration fee plus applicable taxes) is available if the cancellation request is received in writing at least 20 business days prior to the event date (on or before Wednesday, October 21, 2026). No other refunds will be granted.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. No refunds will be issued for registrants who do not meet the conditions outlined above.
