Climate change has already impacted the health of millions of people around the world, according to the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC's) latest report. But, how does the IPCC come to these conclusions? And, does anyone listen? This presentation will focus on how the IPCC conducts its assessments, showcasing health examples from community-based research in the Arctic. Then, the presentation covers the link between the IPCC reports and negotiations at the annual UN Climate Change COPs.
