Our event was designed by a mom from the Middlesex/Zebulon area who was frustrated with the lack of resource information in her area for her son, who is nonverbal/nonspeaking Autistic.
There are 11.2 million children with special health care needs in the United States or one in five households caring for a special needs child.
Finding the right resources for our children is a fulltime job and our hope is that the CDRF will help as many families in our rural area as possible.
